The conference is a successor of the Opening Conference of the CEU Cognitive Development Centre held in January 2010. The great success of the conference motivated us to invest effort in establishing a tradition and organizing it every year. The Cognitive Development Center (CDC), led by Professors Gergely Csibra and György Gergely, was established in 2008 for the study of cognitive development of human infants.
