Dr Ernő Téglás (Cognitive Development Centre) is awarded an ERC Starting Independent Research Grant

We are pleased to announce that the ERC review panels have favorably reviewed Dr Ernő Téglás's proposal entitled: "Precursors of logical reasoning in human infants". The ERC Starting Independent Research Grant from the European Research Council: Seventh Framework Ideas Programme (FP7) provides 1.5 million euros and will help Ernő to continue his research on the highest possible level, and to achieve ground-breaking results. The project is expected to start in May 1, 2015.

The Cognitive Development Center at CEU is pleased to announce the fifth annual BCCCD meeting in Budapest, Hungary. As the only annual European conference focusing on cognitive development, the BCCCD has included presentations in the past on comparative cognition, cultural cognition, early social cognition, language, conceptual learning, methodological issues, and moral cognition.
